Colorado

Hi Everyone!
Boy is it good to be back! Colorado was AMAZING! Now I will be sending a PowerPoint to ya’ll later but here is a summary of what we did! On Monday we left home at 4 pm and went to our hotel so we wouldn’t have to wake up at like 2 am (even though Mr. Fox does that already!) We get to the front desk and the clerk says this. “Mr. Davis we have a situation.” Oh great! The perfect way to start an vacation! “We had some serious water damage during a severe storm and your room and others were affected. We are paying for your stay at an other hotel right down the road. Here is a letter for the manager. “ So we have to pack back up the car and go to the hotel. We get to our room and there are 2 beds! 2 that was it!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are 6 of us. How are 2 beds gonna work! Well the boys split the beds, I slept on a cot (very comfy) and Ellen slept in the closet. Yes I am serious. Tuesday our plane leaves. A four hour flight! We arrive to the Denver airport. That is HUMONGUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is a store just for CROCS!!!!! it has a mall built in it. I am serious. We go to the Air Force Academy. Even though Tim is going to West point . It was funny. We asked at cadet a question and Tim told us later that he wanted to say” I hope you don’t mind getting beat at football this year!” He climbed on a lot of “Special stuff” We get to our cabin in Colorado Springs . “ It has 3 queen beds, and 2 pull out couches. I get my own room! I am serious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was great!. Wednesday we go to Focus on the Family. It was INCREDIBLE!!!! They found out about mom and Dr. Dobson writes us a special personal letter. The said that if he was there he would have talked with us!We get backstage tours and free stuff! That night we got to a Chuck Wagon supper. It was basically a western supper plus a country music show! Thursday was WINDY!! We were planning to go to Pikes PEAK , but because it was so windy, only 13 of the 19 miles were open. So we went to Garden of the Gods instead. It was kinda boring, I thought. But a great professional photographer picture place! (Mr. FOX!) Than we relaxed the rest of the day. Friday Tim, Dad, and Chris went on a fishing trip. Ellen, Andrew and I stayed home and hung out! I slept till 12. Saturday was my favorite day. We went for a 2 hour horseback ride in the mountains and than we went WHITE WATER RAFTING!!!! It was incredible. Sunday we went to the SUMMIT of Pikes peak. Another amazing thing of Gods beauty. It was snowing! Today we left. So I am home. The power Point will be coming VERY soon! After all I took more than 400 pics(A little to Mr.Fox)
Thanks for praying for safety!

hershey park

Okay here is my Hershey Park experience:
The park opens at 10 am. I want to get there at 9:45. We leave the house at 10:15. Now if you know me, I like to go and do things. So this is not a good start for me. We get to the park and ride the Great Bear! (I had to be convinced I like it) And the WHOLE time I close my eyes(which I will never do again) and kept screaming” I am going to DIE!!!!!” We get off and do some water rides. FUN! This whole time I am getting sunburn. I get it really bad. So now, as I am writing this , there is ice on my shoulders because the coolness feels GOOD. This whole time it is sunny and bright outside. I just keep praying it doesn’t rain! Here is a little note: it usually rains when we go to Hershey Park. Tim. Chris , Ellen and I are supposed to meet dad at 5:05 at the Chevrolet Theatre . So as we sit down at the Comet, I look back and sure enough it is clouding over. I said” Tim look it is going to rain!” We go to our meeting place and watch the show. Now there is loud music playing os we cant hear rain if it rains. Te show ends and we begin to get up, but nope we aren’t going anywhere. It is like a hurricane out there! I am not kidding! Seriouly. So we stay ther for an hour. Than it is only drizzling. We make a dash for Choclate world. The park has little creeks in some places. but as we begin to get there it beging to rain hard again. E run. I mean RUN RUN RUN. We get into the building and it is loud and crowded. We get in line for the chocolate tour. We get on and it begins about ¾ of the way the ride stops. “The girls behind us scream their heads off. The lights go out . the girls scream even louder. we gety off and go behind the tour. it was pretty cool. thena we go to the cafĂ©. The lights go out. girls scream. it was kinda cool. we were stuck at choclate world for 2 hours. and we got free cupcakes. it was pretty coll. than we go back to the parks and ride walk on rides. Yay. All in all it was pretty cool!
